AStart on iPhone
Your iPhone records GPS, route and coach audio. Apple Watch shows the run, adds heart rate and gives you controls on your wrist. If the Watch loses its connection, the run carries on.
Intervals intro: running track lanes light up, a start countdown runs from three to one, the Intervals name arrives with a strip of work and recovery blocks, and the two-bend Intervals mark settles into place.

iPhone + Apple Watch · Coming soon
Intervals is a running app for iPhone and Apple Watch (supports standalone use). Recorded coaches talk you through every rep, your own sessions run exactly as you build them, and plans take you from zero to hero.
Not on the App Store yet. We’ll announce the release here.

Four ways to run
Pick the run that fits the day. Each one saves to your history with your route and splits, plus heart rate when you wear Apple Watch.
01Free run
Start a free run and Intervals keeps score: distance, time and a rolling 1 km pace that smooths out the wobble of a steady run. Switch on spoken kilometre splits if you want them in your ear, and a countdown gets you off the line.

02Coached sessions
Sessions are recorded and voiced by Intervals coaches, so every cue lands at the right moment in the rep. Built-in plans take you from Start running and Return to running all the way up to the marathon.

03Custom intervals
Lay out warm-ups, reps, recoveries and cool-downs by time or distance. During a rep the app shows your current pace, so you know how it’s going while it’s happening. Save sessions, build them into your own plan, or send a link to a friend.

04Standalone Watch
Download a workout and its coach audio to Apple Watch, then run with the Watch alone. Haptics mark every change, your heart rate is on your wrist, and the run comes back to your iPhone afterwards.

The coaches
Hope, Chris, Charlie and Alice call your cues. Hope comes with the app and the others download when you choose them. You pick who you hear on basic runs; coached workouts keep the coach they were recorded with.

Intervals coaches are fictional characters with recorded voices. They aren’t real athletes or a live coaching service. Previews play only when you press them.
